NEW! Advanced program

“Zen” collection skills©

This program has been developed, improved and refined over several years to be delivered to a more seasoned and experienced accounts receivable team. Team members who may perform well but recognize that the best engines need regular tune ups and there is always room for improvement.

We start with a brief review of some of the basics (the tune-up), but most of the program concentrates on individual improvement to specific challenges for their organization or association. It is our experience that these skills are more effective when ‘caught’ rather than ‘taught’ to seasoned receivable personnel.

Program topics

  • Defining the role of an effective professional collector
  • Identifying and taking action on barriers to improved performance
  • Advanced negotiating techniques
  • “Time & Stress”
  • Recognizing powers of influence
  • How to develop powerful questions
  • Improving listening skills
  • All I needed to know about collections, I learned at the movies
  • Self and Team Development
  • Action Planning

TESTIMONIALS

“I must really commend you on a great program. When I first registered, I had the mentality of 'You can't teach me anything, I own my own Collection Agency.'
Oh how I was wrong!!! I now realise that in this business there is so much more you can learn.”

Krista Walsh, Owner, KC Collect, Prince Edward Islan

“I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of course. I now am convinced after nearly 30 years in collections both in the UK and the USA, that it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks. Well done to you guys.”

Terry Walling, President, U S Asset Protection Solutions

“This was the most fun I had taking a course - ever. It helped me gain the confidence I needed to be a professional collector. I work alone, so the help and the information was phoenominal for my self esteem and confidence. Thanks; please know I will attend any seminars or take any courses you have to offer in future.”
